Is Samsung developing Galaxy Book laptops with Android and One UI?

Samsung, known for its extensive range of products from smartphones to smart wine cellars, is reportedly working on a new line of Galaxy Book laptops that will run on Android-based software. Following its transition from Tizen to Android for its smartwatches, the company plans to launch these laptops with Android 17 and One UI 9. This move aims to create a more consistent user experience across Samsung’s ecosystem, which already includes Android-based phones, tablets, and TVs. The new Galaxy Books are expected to be available in low-end, mid-range, and flagship models. The flagship model is rumored to have a sleek design, potentially influenced by the popularity of the MacBook Neo. Additionally, these laptops will integrate Galaxy AI features and an enhanced version of Samsung DeX to boost productivity, seamlessly connecting with Galaxy phones and tablets.
