One UI 9 Adds PC-like Taskbar Alignment to Galaxy Tab

Samsung has rolled out the stable One UI 9.0 update to several devices over the past few weeks, and one notable change for Galaxy Tab series tablets is a new option to reposition taskbar icons. The update lets users align favorite app icons on the taskbar to either the left or right edge of the screen instead of forcing a centered layout.

The new alignment setting is useful for users who prefer quick access to frequently used apps from either bottom corner of the tablet, making those apps easier to reach than when icons are centered. Previously, favorite icons on the taskbar were restricted to a centered layout; One UI 9.0 removes that limitation by offering left- or right-side placement.
