Samsung will soon release the Tizen 10 operating system update to select compatible home appliances, including Family Hub refrigerators and Bespoke AI series dryers, laundry combos, and washers. The update brings new features to compatible models and follows the software’s debut on the 2026 Bespoke AI Family Hub Refrigerator.
Tizen 10 brings Google Gemini AI Vision to Family Hub
Family Hub refrigerator models released between 2021 and 2025 will get Google Gemini-powered AI Vision features with the Tizen 10 update. The AI improves recognition of food items ranging from packaged items to fresh food, allowing the refrigerators to recognize many more types of food items. It can keep track of what is in the refrigerator and what needs to be restocked.
