Will the Galaxy Z Flip 8 feature the Exynos 2600 chipset?

In 2020, Samsung introduced its first clamshell foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip, equipped with a Qualcomm chipset. Since then, each new model in the series has featured a Snapdragon SoC, until the latest iteration. The current flagship, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, marks a departure as it incorporates the Exynos 2500, becoming the first in the lineup to utilize an Exynos chipset. Samsung appears poised to continue this trend, with plans to power the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8 with the newly launched Exynos 2600. This chipset is also expected to be used in Samsung’s forthcoming non-foldable flagship models, the Galaxy S26 and S26+.
