Samsung has begun rolling three Galaxy AI features that first appeared on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra to its mainstream flagships with the seventh One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra.
Galaxy S26 Ultra: Custom cards in Now Brief
The update adds Custom cards in Now Brief, a widget-like option based on Google’s Create My Widget from Android 17. Users can pick specific data points from apps such as Samsung Health, Weather and YouTube and display them directly inside Now Brief.
My FanCam
My FanCam lets you open any video, select a person to track, and use on-device AI to follow that person while automatically cropping the frame around them. The feature is available in the stock Gallery app by opening a video and tapping the Galaxy AI icon.
Dual home screen search bars
The beta also enables a split home-screen layout showing both the Finder and Google Search bars simultaneously above the favorites dock; in this arrangement the Finder bar appears slightly narrower than the Google Search bar.
These three additions arrive after they were initially absent from the One UI 9.0 beta builds for the Galaxy S26 series, extending features introduced on the Fold 8 models to Samsung’s conventional flagship phones.
